Results are sent to schools and colleges electronically for each exam series.

e-documents for results can be downloaded from e-AQA and are available for 28 days following restricted results day.

Symbols used in results
No result (X)Indicates a result is not being issued because of absence from all parts of the exam or because of a decision not to issue a result for another reason. The subject will not appear on a certificate.
PendingIndicates that no result has been issued as the marks for one or more components of the exam are not available.
#Indicates that the candidate was absent from part of the exam in the subject and was awarded a zero mark for this part.
+Indicates the candidate was exempt from part of the assessment.
Request for late awards
  • Subject award entries will be accepted without additional fees during the four week period immediately following the publication of results (until the closing date for Enquiries about results).
  • In exceptional circumstances, where applications are considered after the deadline, documentary evidence is required and a fee £40.15 is charged per award.
Entering Award Codes

Please check to ensure there are sufficient units for the award to be claimed as an incorrect number of units will trigger an unsubstantiated report for your school/college.

Certificates

Results of U, Q or X are not shown on certificates.
