Regulations
The five awarding bodies under the JCQ umbrella - AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CEA, WJEC - have common regulations for schools and colleges that enter students for general qualifications.
The Regulations:
- are re-issued each academic year
- set out the various key administrative requirements
- refer to the national agreements arrangements on the conduct of examinations and
special arrangements for individuals with particular requirements.
Supplementary Regulations exist for Overseas Centres and for Private Candidates.
We welcome questions about our work. But remember that internal candidates (candidates entered by an
exam centre and usually following a course of study at the centre) are the responsibility
of the Head of the centre.
