Transferred Candidates Guidance Notes
Transferred Candidates Application Form
Where a candidate is unable to sit one or more of their exams at their original school or college of entry it may be possible to make arrangements for them to take the exam(s) at an alternative registered school/college. For example, this may be because the candidate's family will be moving home during the course of the exam timetable. The results and any certificates will be issued to the original school/college of entry. A fee is payable to AQA for this service.
Where a candidate will be undertaking all of their exams at a different school or college and where the results and certificates should be issued to the receiving school/college, an entry withdrawal request should be submitted by the original school/college and an additional entry submitted by the new school/college.
The Transferred Candidates Guidance Notes provides:
A Transferred Candidate arrangement should not be confused with a Transfer of Credit where a candidate transfers between specifications or awarding organisations midway through an A-level course.
Enquiries should be addressed to AQA at transferredcandidates@aqa.org.uk.
