A ZIP file contains one or more files that have been compressed to reduce file size, or are stored as-is.
How do you open (or ‘unzip’) a ZIP file?
If you have Windows ME, XP or Vista, or Apple OS X, just double-click on the zip file. If you aren‘t using any of these operating systems, you need to download and install a special piece of software that will zip and unzip files.
