How do I plan my programme of preparation and revision?
Make a revision programme in the format that most suits you:
- Don't just read stuff through – do something with it! For example highlight, make bullet pointed lists, matching pairs.
- large wallchart calendar
- week by week timetable or diary
- personal organiser or palmtop
- computer
Here's an example of a revision programme for a range of subjects in wallchart format.
We've produced a blank wallchart for you to fill in with your own exams revision plan.
You can download it, print it out and fill it in.
Tips
- make sure you build in slots for relaxing and going out, family, friends and work commitments
- be realistic about how long you take to do things / and allow plenty of time
- don't let everything pile up
- don't forget to build in reminders.
