What are the rules and guidelines for the exams?

It's better to be safe than sorry. Make sure you check the exam instructions before you arrive:

  • what must you take into the exam room?
  • what will be provided for you?
  • what are you allowed to take into the exam room?
  • what are you not allowed to take into the exam room?
  • check the instructions for each exam particularly subjects such as Maths or Science, where you may be able to take in specialist items
  • English - you are allowed to take set texts with you for some units
  • practise your exam techniques to take these rules into account so they become second nature before the big day.
