The Diploma
Update: AQA–City & Guilds have carefully considered how to respond to the changes in education policy that have affected the diploma. Our focus has been on ensuring we offer relevant and valued qualifications that help students go on to future success, whether that's by continuing their education or getting into work.
We will continue to support schools and colleges that are already in the process of teaching diplomas, but have decided that it is in the best interests of students that we no longer offer diplomas for the academic year starting September 2012.
We know that diplomas have provided students with a rich, rewarding experience and we would like to thank the many teachers who have devoted their time and expertise to delivering these qualifications.
We remain committed to working with schools and colleges to help them deliver the most appropriate qualifications to meet their learners' needs.
