Features of the new ELC specification

We have worked closely with teachers to produce a specification that provides students with creative and exciting opportunities to begin their exploration of Art and Design. The flexibility of this specification caters for students with special educational needs as well as those seeking a progression route to GCSE Art and Design.

New features:

• Students respond to two component units using three themes
• Work is marked holistically out of 60
• Increased variety of themes
• Students explore the same areas of study as those following AQA's GCSE Art and Design
