Students should look at the number of marks and the line space allocated to each question and write answers of an appropriate length.
If a student needs more space to answer a question, they must:
either use the white space immediately beneath the lined answer space and before the start of the next question
or ask for an AQA four-page Supplementary answer book.
They should not:

In response to teacher and student feedback, we are reducing the number of tasks students have to attempt on LAW02. From January 2012, students answer six questions for criminal law and six questions for civil law. The style of questions and maximum mark for each section remain unchanged.
As a consequence of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009, the Voluntary Manslaughter section of the specification has been amended to read 'loss of control' instead of 'provocation'. From January 2012, students will need to answer questions in terms of the 'new' law.
