3521/7/C AQA set-assignment coursework component for Full Course (3521) and Short Course (3527)

Coursework support material to amplify standards for the Assignment:
  • some of these materials have been used at Teacher support meetings
  • they provide assistance about the standards for each of the types of task
  • the tasks from the 2007 assignment are no longer 'live' which is why they can be published on the website for use in centres
  • they are all from a previous year's assignment (contact us) to obtain previous year's Candidate Booklets and Confidential Instructions if necessary)
  • although the analysis for the current assignments is listed in the Confidential Instructions, an exemplar from a previous assignment is included.

In exemplar documents, hints and advice for the teacher is provided in yellow with a dark red background

Commentaries on the work are presented in white with a dark blue background

Work is graded, with awards provided at grade A and grade C standard dark red with a yellow background

For each task, each section offers an exemplar piece of work:

  • at or about grade C
  • or at or above grade A.

Grade C = 41%      Grade A = 67%
(based on the 2007 award of grades)

Similar borderlines are likely for ensuing years, but they are determined annually.
