What certification does a student receive?

A student receives two types of certificates.

• The Unit Award Statement, which is issued promptly each time a unit is completed. This shows:
  
  
  • all the skills, abilities, knowledge and/or understanding which the student has shown in completing the unit
  • any experiences the student has had.

It does not show a level but the detail included will give anyone reading it, eg employer or college, an idea of what level the student was working at.

• The Letter of Credit which the student receives when he or she leaves a centre and finishes with the UAS. This shows:
  
  
  • the titles of all units which have been completed during this time.
